Premier League gamers will proceed to take the knee within the 2021/22 season, saying on Tuesday “more than ever, it is important” that they preserve highlighting racial injustice.

The English Football League, which controls the three divisions under the Premier League, had earlier introduced its ongoing assist for the gesture and the Premier League subsequently stated gamers and match officers would put on ‘No Room For Racism’ badges on their shirts.

A press release issued on behalf of Premier League gamers stated: “We really feel now, greater than ever, it is necessary for us to proceed to take the knee as an emblem of our unity in opposition to all types of racism.
