Former France defender Jean-Pierre Adams has died aged 73 after virtually 40 years in a coma, his former membership Nimes introduced on Monday.
Adams, who made 22 worldwide appearances within the Nineteen Seventies, slipped right into a coma after a mistake by his anaesthetist throughout routine knee surgical procedure in 1982.
