I’m Not Working With IPOB Or Nnamdi Kanu Over Nigeria’s Break-up – Akintoye

The Chairman of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination, Prof Banji Akintoye, has denied working with the chief of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

According to Akintoye, who can be the chief of the umbrella physique for Yoruba self-determination teams often known as Ilana Omo Oodua, stories linking his organisation and IPOB collectively are false.

A press release by the group’s Media Communications Secretary, Maxwell Adeleye, on Monday, titled, ‘Ilana Omo Oodua mentioned the group was working with Lower Niger Congress and never IPOB or its chief, Kanu.

“It is as nicely a humiliation to each Prof Akintoye and the Ilana Omo Oodua organisation.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the organisation within the East of Nigeria with which Illana Omo Oodua is collaborating beneath the aegis of Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS) is the Lower Niger Congress.

“Members of the public should please disregard this misleading postcard and any such false impression in the future.”
