The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom says President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling celebration, the All Progressives Congress (APC), have failed Nigerians in all areas of governance.
Ortom stated this on Thursday whereas inaugurating Moniya-Iseyin Road, held on the Akinyele Local Government Secretariat, Moniya, Ibadan.
He stated the street will improve the socio-economic growth of the state and play a serious position in engineering a contemporary Oyo State.
Ortom, who seemed to be bitter concerning the state of affairs of the nation, described the ruling APC as a whole failure.
Ortom added that the PDP has been demonstrating good management as evident in its governors delivering laudable infrastructure tasks.
He stated, “The PDP is working regardless of all of the financial and safety challenges. The PDP has demonstrated management and that’s the reason we’re commissioning this street in the present day, which is superb.
“I wish to problem the APC on this nation, as a result of they’ve failed. Economically, security-wise, they’ve failed. Socially and politically, the APC authorities is in deficit. Government is all about offering safety for lives and property. Government is about offering infrastructure just like the one we’re doing right here in the present day.
“Let me, as soon as once more name on the APC Federal Government to stand up and provides management as a result of our persons are in ache. From North-East, North-West to North-Central to South-South, South-East and South-West, everyone seems to be confronted with safety challenges and with out safety, there might be no significant growth besides in PDP-controlled states.
“In 2015, the mantle of management was given to APC. But from all indications, it’s clear to each Nigerian that APC doesn’t have the capability to ship. Go and verify, economically, how a lot was one greenback when APC got here into authorities in 2015?
“What was the nature of our security in this country when APC took over power? What was our social relationship in this country? Politically too, where are we? But let us work hard and be praying. As we pray, whether Muslims or Christians, let us also apply work because faith without work is death.”
