The governors of the southern states have insisted that the following President of Nigeria should be from the South.
This was a part of the selections reached on the assembly of the southern states governors in Lagos on Monday.
A communiqué launched after the assembly acknowledged that the discussion board deliberated on insecurity, constitutional modification, Petroleum Industry Bill and anti-open grazing regulation in all member-states.
The discussion board counseled lawmakers for the passage of PIB, however rejected the three% set for the host communities, Vanguard experiences.
Also, the governors unanimously selected Lagos State as their everlasting Secretariat.
