The police in Ekpoma, Edo State Police Command have arrested Felix Alika, a safety aide at Zenith Bank Ekpoma department for allegedly conspiring to kidnap his supervisor, Raphael Ibodeme.
Alika had been locking horns together with his supervisor over his promotion within the financial institution and punishment for insubordination.
Alika requested one Suleman to recruit different gang members to kidnap his boss.
Akhere, one of many gang modified his thoughts and reported the matter on the Ekpoma Police Division a number of days earlier than the operation.
Alika confessed to a plan to kidnap his boss due to their variations and accused his boss of being a prison.
“Yes, l can affirm that Mr. Ibodeme, the financial institution supervisor and myself have been quarreling for a while now,” he said.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Kontongs Bello, confirmed the incident, noting that the two suspects would be charged to court for attempted kidnap.
“The report from the anti-kidnapping squad in our Command said the security guard, Felix Alika, lied against Mr. Raphael Ibodeme.”
