A violent protest on Tuesday night time rocked Gada-Biu within the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State as some residents held demonstrations to point out their displeasure on the sorry state of insecurity within the space.
The protest began within the night and step by step degenerated with the protesters burning autos, an eyewitness informed SaharaReporters.
The supply added that upon the deployment of safety, the violence degenerated additional and gunshots might be heard.
However, it was not clear if anybody was injured on the time of submitting this report.
“It started this (Tuesday) evening and the presence of security operatives worsened the situation as they started shooting. But we can’t say yet if anyone was injured. By tomorrow morning, more details would have emerged.
“Such protests aren’t new in Gada-Biu as residents of the realm have since grown bored with the killings of their space,” the source said.

Similarly in September 2018, there was a bloody protest within the space following information of the killing of 11 individuals of their houses on Rukuba Road by unknown gunmen.
The assailants reportedly attacked the house of a preferred lady known as Mama Kogi within the Rukuba space, killing her and 5 members of her household.
Others within the neighbourhood together with a pregnant lady have been additionally reportedly killed by the unknown assailants.
A police station was burnt and one individual was later killed within the Akpata space of the state.
