Micro-blogging website, Twitter, has reacted to the indefinite suspension of its operation by the Nigerian authorities. 

The media large described the suspension of its operations in Nigeria on Friday as “deeply concerning”.

Twitter’s Senior Policy Communications Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Sarah Hart, said this in an electronic mail response.

“The announcement made by the Nigerian Government that they’ve suspended Twitter’s operations in Nigeria is deeply regarding.

“We’re investigating and will provide updates when we know more,” Hart was quoted by TheCable as saying.
