A Junior Secondary School 1 pupil of Mary Immaculate Secondary, Ado-Ekiti has sued Ekiti State authorities and others to problem her suspension from the college.

The pupil, Gift Agenoisa is in search of N15 million in damages for alleged breach of her rights.

She was suspended from faculty by the federal government after her mother and father allegedly beat up some lecturers for punishing her for indecent dressing and gross indiscipline.

But in her swimsuit, numbered HAD/01/CR/2021, sworn to on the Ado Ekiti High Court, filed on her behalf by Mrs Odunayo Agenoisa, the suspension infringed on her rights.

Joined within the swimsuit are: School Principal, Mrs F. M. Oluwasanmi (first respondent); Commissioner for Education, Dr Olabimpe Aderiye (second respondent); Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (third respondent); and Ekiti State Government (fourth respondent).
