Sex workers dislodged as fire razes brothel in Rivers

No fewer than 30 intercourse employees have been dislodged as early morning fireplace razed down a wine bar and an adjoining brothel at 48 Azikiwe Street in Mile 2 space of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers State.

It was gathered that the hearth began from a meals vendor who sells meals in razed buildings and escalated.

Chidiebere Amadi, who witnessed the incident, mentioned over 20 rooms utilized by the prostitutes had been destroyed by the hearth, including that no life was misplaced.

Amadi mentioned: “The fireplace began from the pot of a meals vendor in entrance of the brothel round eight am. She was frying oil and her pot caught fireplace and exploded.

“Some youths in the area tried to put out the fire, it failed. Several calls to the state fire service were not answered for over three hours until the fire destroyed the building completely.”

However, the Director of the affected constructing, Prince Ihunwo, referred to as on well-meaning people to help him, as all his belongings have been destroyed by the hearth.
