Olai Godwin, a lecturer within the Department of Management, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has been positioned on a three-month suspension by the administration of the establishment for demanding cash from closing yr college students with a view to assist them write their mission works.

The suspension passed off following the audio recordings that surfaced through which a few of his college students alleged that he demanded N70,000 for the initiatives.

The college students had been reportedly closing yr college students of his division assigned to him for the supervision of their initiatives.

The Vice Chancellor of the establishment, Professor Ozo-mekuri Ndimele, acknowledged that Godwin had promised within the audio, to assist full your complete initiatives, sort it and bind them, with none contributions from the scholars.

He disclosed this on his Facebook web page on Tuesday including that the lecturer’s case has been transferred to the Staff Disciplinary Committee of the establishment for additional investigation.

“The Management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has placed Mr. Godwin Olai, a lecturer with the Department of Management, on three months’ suspension and his matter referred to the Staff Disciplinary Committee for further investigation. We are determined to keep our surroundings clean. Let’s all be careful,” the VC stated
