Reps hail Obaseki’s defection to PDP

The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has welcomed Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Minority chief of the House, Rep. Ndudi ELumelu in a press release on Friday described Obaseki’s determination “as a step in the right direction”.

Elumelu famous that “Edo State has been an unquestioned stronghold of the PDP” and described the motion of Governor Obaseki as “home coming”.

The minority chief recommended members of the social gathering in Edo state for receiving Governor Obaseki with open palms.

He additional recommended the social gathering leaders within the state for his or her dedication, dedication and resilience, towards all odds, and charged all members to stay united in order that the social gathering may have a formidable entrance forward of the September governorship election.

Recall that Obaseki was earlier within the week, disqualified by his former political social gathering, the All Progressives Congress, APC from taking part within the social gathering’s Governorship primaries subsequent week.
