Panic As Yoruba, Hausa Communities Clash In Osun Market

There was apprehension in Owode-Ede, Ede North Local Council Development Area of Osun State on Tuesday as Hausa pepper sellers and Yoruba youths clashed within the early hours of the day.c

It was learnt that the conflict occurred on the standard Owode weekly market.

The disaster began when a Hausa pepper vendor, mentioned to have allegedly blocked the doorway of a home situated out there, was instructed to vacate the place, CityMirrorNews experiences. 

It was gathered that by blocking the doorway of the constructing, the Hausa pepper sellers prevented the occupants of the home from gaining entry into the home.

The home proprietor in return eliminated the wares being offered by the Hausa man to create an entry highway to his home.

In response. The dealer allegedly broke the owner’s automotive mirror, it was gathered.  

A resident of the world alleged that Hausa merchants are keen on displaying their wares in unauthorised locations. 

”Some displayed their wares in entrance of someone’s stalls, whereas others had simply unfold them out on the pavement,” the eyewitness mentioned. 

Some of the Hausa merchants had been later taken to the palace of Olu of Owode whereas those that sustained accidents had been taken to hospital.
