The child delivered in jail by Kemisola Ogunniyi, an 18-year-old woman detained over #EndSARS protest has been christened.
The child was named Okikiola, Samuel, Oluwapamilerin, amongst others.
Among those that attended the occasion was the spouse of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Naomi Ogunwusi.
The Ondo State High Court sitting on the Olokuta Medium Prison in Akure had on Tuesday granted Kemisola bail within the sum of N10 million and a surety in like sum.
The nursing mom was arrested in Akure on October 24, 2020, whereas going to a pharmacy to purchase medicine for her mom.
She was arrested by the police together with three others, saying they participated within the #EndSARS protest within the state.
The police claimed they have been a part of the #EndSARS protesters who burnt the workplace of the All Progressives Congress, APC, within the state final 12 months, about eight months in the past.
The three others are Ayodele Bukunmi, Ojo Samuel and Ani Obinna.
The fees most well-liked in opposition to them have been conspiracy to commit the next felonies, to wit: arson, riotous meeting, stealing and malicious injury.
Kemisola was mentioned to have gone into labour on June 15 and given delivery to a child boy the next day.
