The Ogun State Police Command has arrested an administrative employees member of the state’s College of Health Technology, Olawale Jamiu for allegedly raping a pupil.
This was disclosed by the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a press release despatched to SaharaReporters on Tuesday.
According to the assertion, the sufferer had gone to the workplace of 39-year-old Jamiu to gather her faculty file when he dragged her into the file room and forcibly had intercourse along with her.
The sufferer subsequently reported the incident to her guardian, who in flip complained to the varsity administration.
Jamiu, it was said, initially denied the allegations however confessed to the crime upon being confronted with the apologetic message he despatched to the sufferer after the alleged act.

They reported that the sufferer was raped when she went to gather her faculty file from the workplace of the suspect. On getting there, the suspect dragged the sufferer into the file room and forcefully had intercourse along with her. The sufferer there after which reported the incident to her guardian who in flip reported to the authority of the varsity.
”Upon the report, the DPO (Divisional Police Officer), Ilese division, CSP Amuda Ajibola rapidly detailed his detectives to the faculty the place the suspect was promptly arrested.
“On interrogation, the suspect who initially denied the allegation was dumbfounded when confronted with the apologetic message he despatched to the sufferer after his devilish act.
“The sufferer has been taken to the state hospital, Ijebu-Ode for medical therapy.
“Meanwhile, the commissioner of police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the rapid switch of the suspect to the anti-human trafficking and little one labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for additional investigation and diligent prosecution.”
