Nigeria’s Attorney-General, Malami Files Application Against Court Order Restraining Sunday Igboho’s Arrest

The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, on Wednesday filed an utility earlier than an Oyo State High Court praying to vacate the order stopping the arrest and freezing the accounts of  Sunday Adeyemi, a.ok.a , Sunday Igboho.

Igboho’s counsel, Mr Yomi Aliyu, SAN, had knowledgeable the courtroom that his consumer’s life was being threatened after the invasion of his home by the DSS on July 1, the place property was broken and an occupant killed.

Justice Ladiran Akintola granted the applying for extension of time and awarded N50,000 towards the respondent.

Akintola stated that the order restrained the respondents from arresting, intimidating and freezing Igboho’s account nonetheless subsist till it’s vacated by the courtroom.
