Adebisi Badejo, spouse of a journalist who was shot lifeless in Ibadan on Saturday night, Titus Badejo on Monday mentioned her husband was killed at his prime when he must be caring for his household.

The spouse of the deceased made this recognized when the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Oyo state, led by its chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola, paid a condolence go to to the household home of the deceased.

The spouse of the deceased mentioned, “My husband was not a fighting type. He played with everyone. People have been asking me if I suspect anyone but I tell them nobody. I don’t suspect anyone because you would not see him fighting. I want the government to do the right thing to those who killed my husband.

“Such an individual ought to face correct self-discipline. Government ought to get them arrested and prosecute them as a result of he was killed when he began making his fortune. This is the time we must be having fun with his sweat. He should not die in useless. They ought to for God’s sake get his killers. He offered his automotive to execute a mission in Ogbomoso and he promised to purchase one other automotive for me and my kids. He promised me many issues however they did not enable him to fulfil any of the guarantees.

“Government and individuals should do something for his children to support their education and also complete his site, so as for us to move into the house.

Speaking at the visit, Babalola who prayed for the family of the deceased, said journalists in the state had given the state government three days to arrest the killer of the journalist.
