The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, (MACBAN) has accused the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) of failing to talk towards allegations of corruption, and the arrest warrant on embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police and Head of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigeria Police Force, Abba Kyari.
The group mentioned it was shameful that the northern Elders have been quiet whereas the US and a few parts in Southern Nigeria have been conniving to persecute “shining stars” within the North.
The United States Attorney’s Office, Central District of California, had issued an arrest warrant towards Kyari for his alleged hyperlinks to the suspected fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, alias Hushpuppi, who’s standing trial for numerous offences that embrace web fraud and cash laundering.
Hushpuppi has since pleaded responsible to the fees and, if convicted, dangers a 20-year-jail time period, three-year supervision upon completion of jail time period, and financial restitution to the tune of $500,000 or extra.

Speaking in the course of the weekend, National President of MACBAN, Dr Garus Gololo mentioned NEF has failed in its predominant accountability of defending the curiosity of the North.
