Lagos Police Arrest Comedian, Oluwadolarz For Endorsing Fraudulent Ponzi Scheme

Men of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a comic, Ogunleye Babatunde, popularly generally known as Oluwadolarz, for endorsing and promoting a Ponzi Scheme firm, RackSterli, which has allegedly defrauded Nigerians.

Oluwadolarz was invited for interrogation by the Area J Police Command within the Ajah space of Lagos State on Thursday.

The comic has publicly influenced and endorsed RackSterli, owned by one Chidi generally known as Blackgold.

In a video made on the police station, the comic was verbally assaulted by the policemen when he was explaining that he must see his lawyer on the matter.

“I will consult my lawyer and I’ll cross-check the record. Let me talk now,” Oluwadolarz mentioned.

“Are you shouting on (sic) me? Are you crazy? You said I’m shouting on you. Are you mad?” One of the policemen within the station mentioned.

It was gathered that shoppers who invested within the scheme with out getting returns since final 12 months made complaints to the police.

 

On Thursday, earlier than his arrest, Oluwadolarz made a video operating and lamenting on a Lagos freeway that the policemen tried to cease and arrest him.


In the video, he accused the policemen of attempting to harass him as he ran beside a busy highway, panting.
