Following the killing of a farmer, elder Uzoemena Iriaka, by suspected armed herdsmen, round a farmland in Umuepu, Agwa in Oguta native authorities space of Imo state, Vanguard was instructed that the management of Miyetti Allah, has agreed to pay compensation to the household of the deceased.
The Lawmaker representing Oguta Constituency of the State, Frank Ugboma, the place the incident occurred final Sunday, revealed this to Vanguard in Owerri.
According to him, this was a part of the result of the stakeholders’ safety assembly held in his constituency, involving President Generals, PG, of the 24 autonomous communities, Security companies and management of the Miyetti Allah.
