Groups Pay Tribute To Kudirat Abiola 24 Years After Assassination

Women Arise for Change Initiatives and Kudirat Initiative for Democracy have described Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, spouse of the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, as mom of the battle for democracy in Nigeria.

The late Kudirat was hailed for displaying unusual braveness, advantage and doggedness throughout her lifetime.

Presidents of Women Arise, Joe Okey Odumakin, and KIND, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, in a joint assertion on stated Kudirat’s grotesque homicide was nonetheless contemporary of their recollections 24-year after.
