Delta State House of Assembly, Tuesday, handed the State 2021 Supplementary funds of N66,381,331,029.

Breakdown of the supplementary funds embody; N15,722,382,324.00 for recurrent expenditure and N50,658,948,705.00 for capital expenditure.

Our Correspondent experiences that the third studying of the 2021 supplementary Appropriation modification invoice and subsequent passage was sequel to a movement moved by the Majority Leader of the House, Mr Ferguson Onwo and adopted on the plenary of the House presided by the Speaker, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori.

The supplementary appropriation modification invoice was final week Wednesday referred to the House Committee on Finance and Appreciation for additional scrutiny and to report again this Tuesday.

Speaking after the passage of the invoice, Speaker of the House, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori thanked members for the demonstration of their commitments in direction of the early passage of the supplementary funds.

Oborevwori defined that one of many key capabilities of the legislative House was the authorization of presidency expenditures and recommended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his knowledge and prudence within the administration of the state’s scarce assets.
