Deputy Senate President and the lawmaker representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ovie Omo-Agege, yesterday, visited Delta Ijaw at Bomadi, Delta State, in his bid to steer Delta state in 2023 with a pledge to offer higher service supply in Ijaw land.
Omo-Agege, chief of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, within the South-South, stormed the riverine enclave, which is Sen. James Manager’s stronghold in Delta South, who’s an ardent gubernatorial hopeful underneath the ruling PDP within the state.

In a consultative/interactive assembly with Ijaw APC leaders/stakeholders, who got here from Burutu, Patani, Warri Southwest, Warri North, and Warri South council areas, they appealed to Omo-Agege for primary facilities within the space.
High Chief Michael Johnny and APC state monetary secretary, Chief Theodore Ezonfade, who made the attraction, famous that Delta Ijaw had been uncared for by the PDP-led state authorities within the provision of democracy dividends since 1999.
“We have suffered the consequences of bad leadership; the Bomadi General Hospital and other government facilities are in shambles, and there’s no electricity in Bomadi. We need your help”, they stated.

Omo-Agege, in his response, stated: “no matter I’ll do, I’ll do for the Ijaw nation. All your calls for are the fundamental issues each senator is meant to do for his folks. Ijaw has not gotten what they deserve.
“We want your help as a result of your entire calls for will be achieved if solely we’re in energy in 2023.
“But, I will try my best to ensure that some of the things I’m doing in my senatorial district are done here in Bomadi”.
