Unknown gunmen on Sunday evening shot useless, a former choose of Enugu State High Court recognized as Justice Stanley Nnaji.
The deceased, from Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, was shot severally beside the Enugu Diagnostics Centre, by Ebeano Tunnel, after he was double-crossed and dragged out of his Mercedes Benz Jeep.
Confirming the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, mentioned he has ordered the launch of a full-scale manhunt for the yet-to-be-identified gunmen, who equally carted away with the deceased’s automobile.
In a press release by the spokesperson of the Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, the Commissioner acknowledged that the sufferer was rushed to the hospital, the place he was confirmed useless by medical doctors on responsibility and deposited within the mortuary for post-mortem, including that the incident occurred at about “1700 hrs.”

Meanwhile, the Commissioner, whereas assuring that no stone could be left unturned in fishing out perpetrators of the heinous crime, known as on residents of the state to stay law-abiding, vigilant and help the Police with helpful info that may result in the arrest and prosecution of the assailants.
Justice Nnaji was a Judge of the Enugu State High Court till he was dismissed following his alleged function within the elimination of Governor Chris Ngige, the then Governor of Anambra State in 2007 via a questionable ex-parte order.
