The Yola bridge in Adamawa State linking the state capital with the northern components of the state has been completely blocked by a heavy-duty truck to protest in opposition to the demand of N15,000 bribe by safety operatives.
SaharaReporters gathered that safety operatives allegedly demand N15, 000 bribe from truck drivers alongside the Yola-Mubi Road.
An eyewitness instructed SaharaReporters that as common, safety officers allegedly demanded a bribe of N15,000 from the truck driver on Thursday however he was solely in a position to increase N9,000.
The officers, due to this fact, allegedly seized the truck driver’s cell phone due to the steadiness of N6, 000 he couldn’t afford.
