Benson made the decision following the killing of over 81 and 40 folks by Boko Haram insurgents and bandits in Foduma Kolomaiya group, Gubio Local Government of Borno State and residents of Faskari Local Government of Katsina State respectively.
In an announcement to commiserate with the federal government and the folks of the States, the chairman who represents Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State within the parliament stated the loss of life of any particular person in Nigeria, particularly from insecurity, ought to be a supply of concern to all.
According to the lawmaker, it was disheartening that at a time the army was making positive aspects within the combat in opposition to the insurgents and bandits, the criminals might strike in these communities, killing folks of their massive numbers.
