A bandit chief, Dogo Gide, on Sunday, launched three college students of the Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri kidnapped by his males throughout a raid two months in the past.

The freed college students had been launched alongside considered one of their academics and an expatriate, Daily Trust reviews.

It was gathered that the abductees had been launched by the intervention of negotiators working with intelligence companies.

The report added that the victims are being transported to Minna, the Niger State capital from Kotongoro, a village within the Mariga Local Government Area of the state.

Several college students and three academics had been kidnapped Thursday, June 17 by armed males from Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri in Kebbi State

A feminine scholar sustained gunshot wounds, whereas one other employees member was hospitalised following the assault after the bandits overpowered the college’s safety group. 

“The team comprising operatives from the Police Mobile Force, Anti-kidnapping and Counter-terrorism units are currently combing nearby forests, routes and suspected hideouts of the criminals,” the state police spokesperson, Nadiu Abubakar stated in an announcement launched instantly after the assault.
