Arrested PUNCH, Roots TV Journalists Covering #FreeDunamis5 Protest In Abuja Regain Freedom

Two journalists, Solomon Odeniyi and Tosin Bisola of The Punch Newspaper and Roots TV respectively have regained  their freedom after they have been initially arrested by the police whereas overlaying a protest by activists to demand the discharge of 5 Nigerians youths arrested for carrying #BuhariMustGo T-shirts within the church. 

The journalists have been first harassed by a staff of policemen and safety guards hooked up to the principle gate of the church earlier than being whisked away.

Afterwards, the journalists couldn’t be reached on their cell phones.

However, following the intervention of the Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma,  each journalists have been later launched. 

A journalist with the The Cable, an internet information medium, recognized as Deji, who was additionally detained on the church safety put up, has been launched.
