The Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Bonaventure Enemali, has escaped dying after his car was shot at by lawless personnel of the Nigerian Navy.
The assault occurred on Sunday at Awkuzu Junction alongside the Awka-Onitsha Expressway.
It was gathered that the commissioner’s car was stopped on the checkpoint by one of many Nigerian Navy personnel, who later allowed him to maneuver on, however as he drove off; his car was shot at by one other personnel.
