About 75 building firms have bidded for the concession of the 12 Federal highways below the Highway Development and Management Initiative, HDMI.

Recall that the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing had in December 2020, obtained the Certificate of Compliance for the Outline Business Case for the HDMI.

Hussaini famous that the Federal Government was dedicated to a clear, truthful and aggressive bidding course of for the 12 Pilot Road corridors earmarked for concession by way of the Value-Added Concession programme below the Highway Development and Management Initiative, HDMI, Project Life Cycle.

He stated, “The Ministry shall ensure that the procurement process is in line with the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) act and approved Public-Private partnership guidelines.”

At the ceremony, the Value-Added Concession on-line portal was accessed for the primary time because the portal was opened to obtain submissions consistent with present pointers.
